Critics Consensus
Unintentionally hilarious, poorly paced, and overall redundant, Agent X is a secret agent drama that should have remained secret.

I guess that is why it got cancelled. It lost too many viewers. And of course Sharon Stone can not act at all. The American version of James Bond, Agent X could have worked well as a slick TV adaptation of cinema's iconic 007. But alas, it turned out that James Bond's American cousin was predictable to the point of boredom and was quickly and unceremoniously cancelled.
Agent X was also canceled before its second season. Sharon Stone, as U.S. Vice President, learns there's a constitutional provision that allows a special agent (Jeff Hephner) to act on missions outside of federal red tape.
Alexei Volkoff (Russian: Алексей Волков) is the alias and alter ego of Hartley Winterbottom (codename Agent X), a fictional character on the television series Chuck.
The mission of Mutant X is to seek out and protect their fellow new mutants. The series was filmed in Toronto, Canada. The series was abruptly cancelled in 2004 after the dismantling of Fireworks Entertainment, one of the show's production companies, ending the show with an unresolved cliffhanger.
Many fans predicted the series' cancellation because of the noticeable drop in the quality of the animation and story during the second half of the final season. Fox soon realized just how popular the X-Men animated series was when ratings dropped 31% after the network stopped showing it in heavy rotation.
