MECOMED and Asia Pacific Medical Technology Association (APACMed) are strengthening the industry voice beyond regional borders to bridge between Asia-Pacific and Middle East& Africa in a collaborative initiative at the 6th GCC eHealth Workforce Development Conference 2023..On behalf of both associations, Anh BOURCET has presented on "Bridging Digital Health Skills - Public-Private Partnership to accelerate digital Transformation." A stronger public-private partnership to upskill the healthcare workforce in #DigitalHealth was recommended.Digital health innovations developed by manufacturers are disrupting current care models and driving the digital transformation. Therefore, it is critical for the public and private sectors to work together on the workforce capability building strategy to ensure a safe and optimal use of these innovations so that their full value can be demonstrated in the real-world setting. In addition, both stakeholders are encouraged to work together to shape a clearer digital health infrastructure and policies that would be more conducivefor sustainable technological implementation.We would like to thank Dr Osama Elhassan and Zimam for inviting MECOMED and APACMed on stage at this fantastic conference, where international and national policymakers and thought leaders are building together the future of healthcare through Digital Health.
