2024 Events & Theme Weeks

46th Annual Carnival Parade

The fun starts early on this day as more than 150,000 visitors and locals pour into the street to celebrate Carnival. Winding its way down Commercial Street from the Harbor Hotel in the East End to the Coast Guard Station in the West End, the Annual Carnival Parade serves as a symbol of Provincetown’s inclusiveness, creativity and diversity.

Annual Jockstrap Bike Ride

Provincetown Brewing Co. hosts the Annual Jockstrap Bike Ride. Participants are invited to don their most daring and festive jockstraps and embark on a ride through the heart of Provincetown spreading laughter, cheer, and a sense of community.

Monumental Sale

Fall is a great time for cleaning house! Provincetown businesses are welcome to market their offerings curbside and residents are encouraged to organize yard sales as part of the Monumental Yard Sale the weekend of October 12th - 14th.

Halloween Weekend in ProvincetownA quintessentially ghoulish New England Halloween awaits you as Provincetown and Spooky Bear host a monstrous medley of parties, dances, a haunted house, costume ball, trick-or-treating and more.October 31 - November 3, 2024

First LightRing in the New Year on the tip of Cape Cod with this 3-day-long celebration. Feet Over Front Street 5K Run & Walk

Feet Over Front Street honors Commercial Street’s original name, Front Street, which dates back to 1880. The Feet Over Front Street 5K Run/Walk starts at the Harbor Hotel in Provincetown’s East End and runs the full length of Commercial Street to the Provincetown Inn on the West End of Town.
